"A Taste of New Orleans"

A Taste of New Orleans has developed into one of San Antonio's most popular events, and it's a great place for the whole family, kids included, to hang out. Sample the great New Orleans-style food, tap your toes - or dance along with the "Second Line", to music ranging from Dixieland to Salsa, from Big Band to modern. Feel free to bring blankets, strollers and umbrellas. Grounds includes a children's play area.

At year's end, we hold an annual award event at which we bestow gifts on most recipients of our benevolent outreach. The amount and extend of our gifts is determined in proportion to the proceeds realized from our fundraising activities.   

Scholarship Presentation & Dinner

SAZA Commission endeavors to present $1,000.00.  Scholarship awards to 20 deserving students annually.

SAZA's benevolent outreach each year is dependent on the degree of success of our fundraising activities.  Over the years we contributed to and serviced many of the organizations listed below:
