Join us for the 40th Annual A Taste of New Orleans – the ultimate Fiesta weekend for food, family, and fun!

For four decades, “The Taste” has been one of Fiesta San Antonio’s go-to parties, and this year we’re celebrating bigger than ever. Grab the kids, round up the whole family (yes, bring Mom and Pop too!), and come spend the day enjoying New Orleans vibes right here in San Antonio.

🎷 Food & Music with NOLA Flavor
Stroll the grounds to the sounds of live New Orleans–style music while you dive into fan favorites like:

Assorted gumbos

Red beans and rice

Shrimp creole & étouffée

Jambalaya, boudin, and Cajun catfish

Fresh crawfish boil, alligator, crab dishes, and more

Beignets and plenty of sweet treats

You’ll also find a wide variety of ice-cold beverages to keep you cool all day long.

Kids can enjoy rides, play areas, clowns, and face painting—making it the perfect outing for the whole family.

“A Taste of New Orleans” uses RFID technology as the only form of payment accepted for food, beverages and merchandise. You can pre-purchase your entry tickets along with your food and drink credits ahead of time to save time standing in lines coming into the event. Credit or Debit cards as well as cash can be used to purchase your event credits.

SAZA has partnered again with our friends at VIA Metropolitan Transit to get you and your Krewe in to and out of the park stress free. VIA offers convenient, affordable service to and from multiple Fiesta events including ours!

This year’s San Antonio ZULU Association Fiesta medal gladly recognizes the strength, resiliency and spirit of the Crescent City.

Despite the impact of recurring significant weather crisis, or the more recent New Year’s act that took place in The French Quarter that took the lives of 11, and injured so many more; the city of New Orleans banned together once again demonstrating the strength and vigor of their community’s resilience by embodying the uplifting spirit of what it means to be“New Orleans Strong!”.
